East Coker Cockerels Football Club
East Coker Cockerels Football Club is based at East Coker School and the Playing Fields at Longfurlong Lane, and includes members from the village of East Coker and the surrounding area. We provide opportunities for children to learn and play football in a friendly and supportive environment
East Coker Cockerels are affiliated to Somerset FA and are proud to have been awarded the FA Charter Standard Club award in November 2004. All of our coaches have passed FA coaching courses and the club has strictly observed codes of conduct and child protection and anti-discrimination policies. These documents complement our commitment to enjoying football whilst encouraging a sense of fair play and friendship.
For the 2005/2006 season we will be running teams in four age groups, U8, U9, U10 and U11. The under 8 team will be playing friendly matches and entering the U8 Challenge Cup in February, the other three teams will participate in league and cup competitions run by Yeovil and District Mini Soccer League.
